Bragging a delectable menu of New American fare and a hip, upbeat ambiance, Saint & Second is the place to go for organic cocktails and creative, locally sourced cuisine. Domenico’s Restaurant excels at perfectly executing the bold flavors of Italy, and diners often rave over the signature pizzas — made with a house dough fresh-baked daily.
For unbeatable sushi and authentic Japanese fare, locals head over to @Sushi, where a delightful array of culinary excellence awaits. Situated along the beach for superb dining views, the Belmont Brewing Company specializes in elevated pub cuisine that pairs well with their large selection of craft beers.
Things to Do
Along with the plethora of entertainment available at the 2nd Street Shops area, Belmont Shore is additionally outfitted with a variety of other attractions. Rosie’s Dog Beach, for instance, caters to the town’s canine population and offers its 4-acres of lovely shoreline as an off-leash paradise for dogs during certain set hours of the day.
Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier is a scenic spot for fishing excursions and afternoon strolls, pulling in visitors with its salt-scented breezes and laid-back beauty. Nestled in the space between the waters of Alamitos Bay and the Pacific, Bay Shore Beach is beloved for its calm, tranquil waters available year-round.
The neighborhood of Belmont Shore also hosts several exciting local events throughout the year. Among them, the Annual Art Walk + Chalk Contest stands out as a local favorite. Each year, more than 50 visual artists of all skill levels participate in this colorful festival that takes place along the sidewalks of 2nd Street.
